Fertility Reflexology (Reproflexology™)
Trying to conceive can be stressful and we know this can impact in your ability to get pregnant. As a Reproductive Reflexologist I view each client’s issues with empathy and support couples emotionally on their fertility journey. I have trained in a specialised form of Reflexology for fertility and conception called Reproflexology™ and I am currently the only qualified full member of the Association Of Reproreflexologists in East Sussex, receiving advanced post graduate training by Seren Training In Reproductive Reflexology, and can be recognised by the letter MARR after the name, members are specially trained using structured and prescriptive treatment protocols, to support couples through all phases of their conception programme.
Reproflexology™is a specific form of Reflexology which can help to calm and de stress the body and mind, balance hormones and encourage cycles to regularise.
Reproductive Reflexology can be used as a stand-alone treatment to enhance your natural fertility or with all forms of assisted conception including Clomid, IUI, IVF and ICSI. It can also be used to support individuals and couples using surrogacy or donors in IVF cycles.
How Does Reproflexology™ Work?
* It uses specific and prescriptive treatment protocols to address fertility health for both men and women
* It aims to regulate menstrual cycles and ensure that each stage is functioning at its best
* It aims to improve sperm production and functionality
* It aims to assist any underlying conditions, male or female
* It uses structured and prescriptive treatment protocols supporting all forms of assisted conception
* It is one of the most effective forms of integrated medicine using results from medical testing to measure improvements
What happens at a Consultation
I would suggest that a couple come together for the first meeting, after all, issues with fertility are divided equally between men and women.
The treatment programme will be bespoke and tailored to your specific fertility needs which will be discussed at your initial fertility consultation. The first treatment session will include a full medical and fertility history together with discussion in relation to diet and lifestyle. the session will followed by a Reproflexology™ assessment. The treatment will include charting your menstrual cycle to identify your fertile windows and any specific anomalies.
Any relevant blood hormone and sperm analysis tests will be taken into consideration together with advice in relation to diet, lifestyle and emotional support and well being. It would be helpful if any blood and semen test results together with fertility treatment protocols could be brought to the initial consultation as this will allow me to see what fertility issues need to be addressed.
Before trying to conceive it is a good idea to prepare your body three months in advance by making changes to lifestyle and diet and with reflexology. It takes up to three months for a sperm to mature, so changed before conception can help sperm health. Regular Reflexology may encourage the body to restore it’s natural balance by “kick starting” the body’s endocrine system leading to a balance in hormones and a boost ovulation and thus conception. Fertility Reflexology may also help to reduce stress and anxiety in relation to assisted conception procedures such as IVF.
I will tailor a course of treatments depending on whether your cycles are regular and will offer follow up treatments at particular times of the month to stimulate ovulation. It is advisable to have an initial course of 4 to 5 weekly treatments to cover a full cycle, then to go onto fortnightly treatments, to either maintain the cycle or to enhance fertility.
The initial cost for the first consultation would be £100 per couple for up to two hours, or £75.00 for one person
Follow up treatments are £40 - 60 minutes.
